HARVEST Agtech Accelerator update
The HARVEST program began with a two-day bootcamp at the Muresk Institute where the cohort enjoyed networking and collaborating with each other and guest speakers.
Cohort member Ariane Platell has undergone multiple accelerator programs for her startup QL Space and told Farm Weekly "The boot camp very quickly showed us the ideas that aren't going to work, but not in a defeating way, it gave clarity of vision, it helped us become more streamlined in what we want to be offering. (The HARVEST program is) by far the best."
Masterclasses have commenced at HARVEST sponsor Wrays Perth offices with the first session exploring Intellectual Property Management and Taking Your Agtech Global. Thank you to speakers and panellists Michael Pasquale and Albert Ferraloro (Wrays), Simon Tarmo (TradeStart), Carlos Damski (Agtech Export), Larissa Taylor (Savoir Consulting) and Eugene Lim (CEO Singapore Chamber of Commerce)

Do you have an idea to make your business more drought resilient?
Grants valued between $2,000 and $10,000 are available to growers ready to take a paddock idea to the R&D phase.  Ideas and innovation to improve efficiency and process often come from those doing the ‘doing’. However, there is a gap that arises between an idea coined on the job and developing a product, practice or process. This pilot grant round offered by GGA and CSIRO is designed to close the gap.
